Wallasey Swimming and Water Polo Club

Save Our Pool

 .

Recently our home pool Guinea Gap Baths has been in danger of closure as many of you will have seen in the news and papers. Our swimmers as well as thousands of the public have rallied together to help stop the council from closing this key piece of our community.

The Wirral Globe has an article and video on the meeting that took place at the Floral Pavilion to see this click here

On behalf of Wallasey Swimming and Water Polo Club we would like to thank all who signed our petition and attended the meeting to help save our pool for at least two years and fingers crossed many more.

Also a special thanks to Dave Barke, Anna Pearce and Phil O'Connor (if we've missed out anyone we're sorry please let us know if theres anyone else we should thank) for helping to organise and rally the swimmers at the meetings.
